Every year here in Arizona there are a few weeks the weather drops below freezing, and well, we’re never used to it. This shoot wasn’t for a job, but thought I’d share them anyways. I enjoy taking photos even when I’m not working.
We cover as much as we can with sheets to keep the frost off. I ran out of sheets for this bougainvillea and used an old pillow case to protect at least one branch.
After a few days you take away the sheets and cross your fingers there’s no damage. It was interesting how this plant turned black wherever the sheet was in direct contact with it.
